May 2011: Angle Wind has successfully tested the second prototype of its eccentric wind turbine gear. The test was conducted at Coates’ workshop. A full load of 225 kW was applied. In addition the weight of the rotor was simulated. The technology has thus been proven with realistic loading conditions.
